Portraiture: Lesson 2-Drawing from a photograph

Tonight's lesson was all about looking at the face in detail, we tackled two subjects, how to draw children's faces and how to work from a photograph. It made sense for everyone to bring in a picture of a young loved one, children are hard to draw from life as they rarely keep still, unless they're asleep! This lesson was aimed at improving the learners confidence in being able to produce something that resembled the photograph which enabled them to  look at line, shape and proportion in detail. Great results all round, well done everyone!
